'Nurseryland Revolution' Performance!

Last week, the Years 5 and 6 St Peter’s Performers presented an energetic and entertaining performance of Nurseryland Revolution by Dafyyd James.

The play is part of the National Theatre’s Let’s Play programme and includes well-known fairy tale characters rebelling against their traditional stories and judging each other based on skill and personality, rather than stereotypes.

The children impressed us all with their musical theatre skills and we thoroughly enjoyed their enthusiastic performance of this thought-provoking show.

We had great fun in rehearsals when singing the catchy songs, learning the ensemble dance routines and creating modern versions of the fairy tale characters together.

Well done to the Years 5 and 6 St Peter’s Performers for another fantastic show!
