This year, the school council asked their classes what they thought would improve our school. The children expressed that they would like to have some lovely places to read.
Parents and carers of Year 2 pupils came to our open day last Thursday, which was a great day and it was lovely to see so many children and families there. Tours for Year 2 children and families are still available up until the 15th January deadline, if you couldn't make the open day.
This September, as part of the school's focus on 'Reading for Pleasure' each classroom's reading area has had an overhaul and the results are fantastic!
Drama Pupils Support Local STEAM Event at Turner Contemporary
Last Wednesday and Thursday of this week, six of our G & T drama students were lucky enough to go the the Turner Centre to help support a STEAM event run by Chatham and Clarendon Grammar School (CCGS), in conjunction with Artsmark.
Well-done to our school choir who sang at the ‘Private View Portfolio Art Competition,’ at the Turner Contemporary in Margate yesterday evening (Thursday).
